Problem with ftp from PC to Xbox

Was working fine and dandy until about a week ago.

Now, when using Flash FXP to transfer files across, it takes an absolute age, transferring at ridiculously slow speeds. Ive reinstalled the app, checked all cables etc, to no avail.

Thing is, its playing Live through those exact cables, with normal speed and connections etc....... bizarre!

Any ideas what it could be...... could it be the HD playing up? I can navigate it fine through fxp..
