Please, not everybody has the bucks to put in a mod chip. Or wants to put in the effort of finding a chip, mailing out the ps2, paying for it, and then hoping they will actually give your ps2 back and if it will even work after they are done. __________________________________________________ Cheryl, A Magic V 50K chip is cheaper than the swap method. I tried both. It wasn't until this site taught me a million things that I realized the Mod was the way to go. The install will run around $50 depending on who you use. Try www.norcalmods.com ! I too was nervous of sending my machine coast to coast to a stranger. I almost feel like friend when I read his posts now. Try it, you'll love it.
