does anyone else having problems with ver 1-3 ps2 playing dvd-r backups?

i bought one off ebay broken and it was a v1 they fixed it the very same way for free they made it out like sence i called and they said they usely dont fix them for free i was getting a good deal but more i read they fixed ever bodys for free so i was'nt just a luck person lol

heh so if u want a ps2 relly cheap buy it off ebay broke and send it to sony u got u wait a few weeks for it to be fixed but its worth it
