I picked up some bright blue LED keychain lights at the local dollar store and I was trying to think of a cool mod to do with them. I was thinking of lighting up the front air vents. A couple of them could probably have replaced your EL Wire and they don’t need an inverter.
Each light was running on two 3V lithium batteries inside. Just hook two LED’s in series and run off the 12V, a $2 Mod! Either that or put some under my brother inlaw’s car, $8 neon kit!
