NO CD check for BF:Vietnam linux servers ?

First of all I'd really like to thank the people or person behind making the BF:V NOCD patch. Great work there.
I've noticed there is a patch that can be added to a server to disable the CD check. From the looks of it, its for windows based servers.
What I would like to know is, could a patch for the linux version be made ?
