Borderdown
By the way... This is a cool thread. I was finally able to make a standalone selfboot of Border Down (without Ikaruga and without a html menu) using (of all things) the US PlanetWeb 2.6 browser. It's a true selfboot in that there's nothing to click, just wait until the game starts. Doesn't even take long at all, and I replaced the four splash screens with screenshots from the game itself as a nice bonus on the side.
Grab the torrent for Border Down selfboot from suprnova.org or from dcforums.net (uploader is me). Enjoy ![]() A question on the side. I wonder if it's possible to make a browser-based selfboot of Sega Rally 2 (which is a WinCE-CDDA game) such that the CDDA actually plays? Long ago, I ripped the US version of the game and was successful in making both the game data and the CDDA fit on an 80-minute selfboot CD. Of course the game works great but refuses to play its music. Sigh - damned Windows CE. Anyway, I wonder if booting SR2 from the browser might circumvent this issue or if it's a matter of hacking 0WINCEOS.BIN. (And how would one do that, anyway?)
