Glad to see your finally getting somwhere
 . Regards to updating the bios, the answer is 'Yes'. Just follow the instructions given from the site i gave you. Or you could just install evox and flash the bios from there, as that would be the quicker and easy. Give me your E-mail address and i will help get the latest bios.
