I've used Maxells and Memorex discs with no problems, while having nothing but coasters with TDK and Fuji brands. For 100% sucess use ritek dye based media. Anyone will tell u that. Why even try other brands?????

Word of warning about verbatim: Not all of them are ritek dye based. Check what yr buying first.
