then the only thing i can suggest is you don't do data burn and try iso make iso with craxtion open up record now choose IMAGE get you iso and burn it to you dvd writer which is which one by the way? or open nero 6 under the menu recorder choose burn image and burn slow always close discs i've never had a problem with either software package burning an iso i also find iso boot up alot quicker
also make sure your recording options in record now are these disc at once (DAO) closed cd mode1 (blocking 2048) - dvd these settings work perfect for me anytime on any branded dvd-r hope this helps
