Hi,
Sorry that didn't work for you. I have applied patches several times that way. I have that patch you are talking about for HeadHunter and I used it, but I also used a video fix I found on IRC that was about a 28 MB download. After I patched the image with the one found here on megagames, and replaced the video file with the one found on chat, I was able to finish the game and save properly. Now I'm working on V2 with the Star locker opened and all weapons with unlimited ammo. I tell ya, it's quite a bit of fun going through the game with the rocket launcher.  I can't give any info on where to find that patch, and to be honest, I don't even remember where I found it at... I just happened to run across it.
