PS2 version 9 problems?

Hmm... interesting. Just reading through all the stuff here, I was kind of shying away from a v9 and thinking about getting a Magic V 5K6 for the v10 instead. I was planning on getting the v9 with the DMS3 but then kinda became undecided after hearing the bad things about the v9. And I still am undecided. So you guys don't think people should shy away from the v9? I guess, how is anyone to know that the v10 wouldn't be worse, right?

Another thing that is factoring into my decision is that, how can people say that Magic "has its act together" just based on a few weeks with the 5K6? If it were gonna cause problems with the console, I'd think three weeks isn't much to judge that on. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about though...

If anyone could tell me what they would choose to do, I'd appreciate it! v10 w/ Magic V 5K6... or... v9 with DMS3... what's a guy to do?!
