Yes,
You need the pvr plugin for photoshop and you'll need to know how to work with alpha layers. Pvr2bmp is no good for making your own pvrs since it does not make an alpha layer. Brianrus made a good tutorial on how to use photoshop for this. I can't remember the url at the moment, but if you need, I can look it up. -Ex
