DVD Writer advice please
I've just fitted a new DVD Writer - Pioneer dvr 106.

Windows recognised Drive OK

The drive drive will read, but not write (DVD or CD-r's)

System:
Windows ME
Nero 5
Duron 700
256Mb
Creative CDrom

any known issues ?

advice please

ps Have tried a different DVD writer (MSI), same problem.
