Twinkle Star Sprites

Hi, I've got the original Kalisto Twinkle Star Sprites files, but I can't get the game to work on my PAL machine. I've tried the available ppf patch for it, but that just says "This file is no valid ppf file".
(Also, none of the patches in Megalex's PAL patcher work.)

I found a hex-edit for Jojo on this forum, so I hope you can help me again.
