the majority of peeps alike use to backup originals using the data burn method.
this was simply becoz ISO making programs before were not stable until recently.
this is why peeps were put off the ISO method.
there are now a couple of programs that create ISO without a flaw.

for those who want to just backup there originals , u would benefit more in the long run by installing a bigger HDD in your box.

in realistic terms , for those who make more than 1 backup for obvious reasons, it would be more practicle and less time comsuming if they were to use data method. At the end of day the burn't media ,whether its crap or good , and the files on it , whether its ISO or data , wont be played on there own machine.

for peeps who r unsure, then think about it , if u want a backup that runs smoother, or take the risk of the laser wear.

there is no proof that data burns make the laser work harder.
but when the drive makes a lot of noise when loading data method from the media, r u not concerned that it could be.

it is fact that if a laser works harder , it shortens it's life span.
