what the consol means when it says that is the disc is not formated the right way and NO burner can make the right format thats what you need a mod chip for.
the mod chip tells the ps2 that the disc in the ps2 is the right format and that is how it is able to load a copied game. Record Now Max is the best program for burning ps2 dvd games and cdrwin or clone cd for cd games to tell if a game is a cd or dvd look at the bottom if the bottom is silver it is a dvd if the bottom is purple then it is a cd i hope this helps you understand
