Burning bin/cue

Ok im sorry but i have looked everywhere for the answers. I have the swap magic discs with the slide card and i have a few games that i thought i burned right, but none seem to load. How exactly do i burn the bin/cue files right i have tried CDRWIN and Fireburner but im not exactly sure of what options im suppose to use, for example TOA or DOA? Can i just burn a bin file i downloaded or do i need to patch it first? Im using Maxell Black Data cd-r's. I appologize im sure you have heard this question a million times. Thanks in advance!
