Desperate situations call 4 desperate measures.
This error probably occurs because the 'd3drm.dll' file already exists and is still loaded in Windows, which considers it therefore in use and prevents any deletion/modification. So this I suggest - reboot into DOS mode and rename it to 'd3drm.dll.bak' (or anything else, just don't delete it: if Windows fails to startup, U can always revert to the old .dll file). Then reboot into Microsh*t Windows and attempt the 9.0b installation again. This might solve yer prob. Good luck Capt. Kark
