anyways, hdd's have keys that are locked to the mobo. In order to switch HDD's, you will have to unlock the drives via evox, then switch them. When they are unlocked, the xbox cannot go on xbox live or you will get banned.
May I ask why your friend doesn't just use his xbox to go online? All Live enabled games install xbox live automatially, when you go online. And your modchip is compatable with your xbox. Would it not be easier to just mod your xbox and let your friend use his for online play? btw, in the US, xbl fee is $6.99/month, or $50/year
