how do i tell if the DC game needs a boot disk, and is there a difference?

Ive been doing PSX games for the longest time, and now a friend asked me to make DC games. Im useing Cdrwin 3.x, 80min CDs and am multi-session capable. ive read that i dont need to make any adjustments to the program (ie. read error off) Is this true?

secondly, since im using a Bin/cue program, does this mean that i need to make a boot disk for the games? and if so, is there a difference between boot disks?? or a recomended boot disk to use?

lastly, is cdrwin ok for DC games. i want to make self-booting games, what prog. do i use.?

thanks
bone!
