Divx V5.1 works fine with Reality Player 1.50 and also has better quality when you use low bitrate.
time for converting a dvd to divx depends on your cpu speed, for me it takes 6 hours for converting a 3 hours dvd to divx with 2-pass encoding. when you convert directly from VOB file, you get better quality rather than when you convert from captured video. You can go back to browser screen by pressing "O" button when you playing the video.
