Still no luck. Original PS1’s will boot if I hold reset but none of my PSX Backups work, either goes to audio or Red screen of death depending on what CD I Try.
Also, when the PS2 black splash screen comes up, the “playstation 2” text supposed to be plain white right? With this PS2 the text is distorted and surrounded by a blue glowing pattern, always a little different every time. It looks cool but I don’t remember my last PS2 doing that at all. Is that the Apple chip?
