The darker the dye color the better the PS2 tends to read the disc.... This has been my personal experience.... Whether or not their is a scientific reason as to why, I cant answer...... BUT.... IMO.... If you have two discs side by side and one has a darker dye than the other, use the one thats the darkest.... It will produce better results.... At least this is what I have found from personal experience.... OK... Now that Ive said that.... You guys can abuse me!
