I don't think XP is the problem. I,m running XP on my system with the RVS NOCD and played for 3 hours last night,you might want to check your Via chipset configuration out on your system.Make sure you have ,the lastest sound card drivers and in dxdiag check to make sure they are set on hardware, also check your Video drivers.while you in there,just click on test your DX in all phases it will tell you if you passed the test,if you do you have a problemwith the intall of RVS3 do a clean install if no problem are found in DXDIAG.
