Is your DC build after Dec. 2000? Perhaps you have problems with Audio/Data Tracks.
I would mount the Image in DemonTools and extract all Files with IsoBuster. Then i would create with the Selfboottols from DCEmulation a new selfbootable Image with Data/Data Track form. Or what happens when you try to boot? After the Dreamcast Screen it shows the Audioplayer or do you get the Sega License Screen and then a black Screen?
