Its solid as a stone, its only getting fluid for a few moments if I heat it up.
I was assuming I have to put it onto the solder-spots on the PCB. I dont have probs getting solder on the wire - its the contacts on the PS2 that give me trouble.

Is it bad if I put solder on both parts first and then connect it? I just cant hold a soldering iron, a wire on the tiny spots and then additionaly put solder there. I will generate bridges on the PCB that way( after I grew my a third hand ).
