you can get a crossover cable from any good electronics store. as for dvd+rw hmmm i have used these in the past with poor results i strongley recomend you go for a dvd-r format burner a very good make would be
pioneer a04 x2 speed writer or a05 x4 speed writer or a06 x4 speed writer -r/rw is by far the most compatible format for xbox ps2 dvd movies etc also has cheaper media that the +r/rw format.
