Oh wait ! I just got a new thought (cue sound of "DING"). Anyway, I read somewhere that DVD-writers (and DVDroms ?) can sometimes only read cdrw's, this has to do with the intensity/color of the beam. A DVDwriter has a red beam, and because of that is far more compatible with cdrw's than cdr's. The only thing I know for sure is that cdrw's are more compatible with dvdroms/dvdwriters than cdrs, and it has something to do with the color of the beam. Can someone who doesn't have a swiss cheese for memory help me out here ? So are you trying to read it in a dvdrom (maybe same thing there) or dvdwriter ?
