DC&DJ Newbie ...

Hi all :-) i have bought me DC , and want to make Backup . I have tried it but getting error message "not enough space ..."...:-(
because of this here my questions:
-Where can i find a list with CdBurners are compatible with DJ. ??
-What i have to do , if i want to backup an original DcCd??
-Do i need ppf patches?? for what they are?
-where can i find a list with configuration tips of DJ ???
......Please help me :-))
