me and my friends had this problem, too.
we were only able to play with 2 persons, the other 2 always got 'cd key server not responding' ALTHOUGH they applied krondike's lan patch correctly. well, they simply copied the 'system' folder from me and voila, it worked even with 6 people! yeah, a 40-terrorist-hunt simply r00LZ on lan
