OK Ghost thx for the info. CD-ROMs not having ATIP makes sense, too, their content being read-only
Never would have thought safedisk 2+ verified the ATIP too. I remember my 'Serious Sam 2' (safedisk 2.51) running OK in my burner - unless as previously mentionned it had to do with the Blindwrite installation and that .sys file being loaded in memory, hiding the ATIP. If so, only 1 way to check out: uninstall BW, delete this file & attempt 2 run SS2 with the backup in the burner.
Bah, it ain't worth the hassle...
