BIOS pins not grounded?
I have a version 7 PS2 and a DMS3 v2.0
My problem is that I cannot play PS2 backups, but everything else works fine. I know that when you test for continuity with a multimeter between GND and a BIOS pin, I should get 0.000 (multimeter set to 2K ohm). However, I get 0L (no connection) on all but the pin to which wire E is connected. When I touch GND (or the copper edge) and wire E, I get something like 0.985. I get the same reading if I touch wire E and any of the the spots circled in green below. ![]() I've checked for a bridge near all of these spots, but found none. I've also tested each connection bye touching the pin of the BIOS and the via of the wire on the DMS3. Each wire is connected. Also, I've checked the connections on the other side of the motherboard exactly where the BIOS is and there doesn't seem to be a bridge there, either. What could the problem be?
