SCSI writer needed to make a game selfbooting?

i've got an ide writer (sony CRX140e-rp). every program to make a game selfbootable (copydog, selfbooter.. etc etc) ask me the scsi id of my reader and writer. this means i can't make a game selfbooting? i don't want to use utopia everytime i want to play soulcalibur! pleeez help meeee

i used a cdrwin 1.8 to burn my copy (us) and my dc is euro pal with rgb.
(if i forgot some info pleez let me know!)
