BootCD and the VGA problem is NOT solved

I am at my journey's end. I have been beaten down, and I can no longer see the vision that once drove me to this point.

I bought the WinTV-PVR board, and with stark anticipation that I could just plug in the s-video cable and TADA, I would get ALL DC games on my monitor. How I wish it were so.

The s-video input port on the TV Tuner is apparently designed for VCR's and Camcorders. And I can't fool the DC into thinking that my monitor is a TV. I don't know. I might try getting an RCA converter to hook it directly to my cable input on the TV Tuner, but that sounds like it wouldn't work either.

Of course, there is the rumor of the so-called DC-X VGA bootCD. Right.

But hey, let's have a drink.
