you said you boot to evox via cd.. you need to boot to evox directley fron your xbox hard drive.
like devilsminion said you should also need to set the ip differentley. these are my settings. pc ip 192.168.0.4 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 default gateway 192.168.0.1 my xbox ip is 192.168.0.3 these settings work fine for me. i had to manually setup my nic card to the above settings in order to get a connection. im using windows xp pro sp1.
