You know when I look at an XBox controller I see a resemblance to the old Sega Genesis controllers. They were about the same size and shape, but of-cores the Genesis controllers didn’t have as many buttons.
As for the PS2 controller, I can’t get use to it either. I just don’t like how small it is, nor where the buttons are. And for the DreamCast… I cant really say. Never owned one. Never did like it much any way. A buddy of mine had one, and I never could get use to the squareness of the controller. And the weirdest controller of them all, the GameCube.
