Finding out some info

OK i just want to find out the best way to do this. Ok here i go
I have PS2 version7 and i was wonderin what would be the best mod chip and any help to install it right. I have a little soidiering skills and am able to do this with help. I just wanna make sur that if i get the mod chip and install it that i can play games with no problem and watch DVDs and make it worth buyin.
