might sound silly - but you did extract the game.exe crack out of the winrar file & replace it with the original game.exe in your game directory didn't you.... ??
If you did you would have got a message " Would you like to replace the game.exe file........" of course you click yes...... Did that happen...? .... & .... Do you get that same error when you have your original CD in the drive ....
