Definitely sounds like a media issue to me.
Especially with the games he listed. What cleaning disc do u recommend bighap? A m8ee of mine has had a couple of minor loading probs and has gone of to find one. I thought u couldn't go wrong with a sony dvd cleaning disc as it made by the sony gods themselves, and if it all goes wrong u have a good argument 4 them giving u a new ps2!
