Messiah 2 problem with PS2 CDR

Have installed 3 messiah 2 today, all in version 5's.

2 work flawlessly, the third seems to have trouble loading up PS2 cdr's.

The first cdr I put in loads okay, the second and others after wont load, the ps2 either ignores them or screen goes black for a while then comes back with "No Data" followed by red screen of death.

It reads PS1 cdr's okay, no problem and also reads PS2 original CD based games, PS2 dvd originals and PS2 dvd-r's no problem.

Anyone come across this before????
