C&C Generals cant back-up

I'm having a right game trying to back this up.Nero copies it but when installing,it wont recognise the 2nd disc.After looking at old posts i cant see any1 else having this problem.I've also followed the sticky above and D/L Alcohol120 and as the link says there are always disc errors from 800 to 10000 due to safedisc2?
The trouble is it starts at 800 recognises the errors but 30 min on its only at 1350 sectors,is this right?If so it'll take me about 2 days to back-up one disc
Like i say i've trawled through the previous posts as i know peeps are gettin peed off with C&C post.
