My game shark cd broke, so I went out and found the last one in furture shop. I thought it was the older type that would work with my swap mod chip but cant seem it get it to work properly. It seems to only work now if I boot it in ea mode(hold down the reset button until its time to insert the game) but this method only works on certain games. The game shark version is 2.30. Is there another way to try and boot this so it will play all the games? I read the stickey at the top of the page and tried theses methods. My ps2 is model scph3001 one of the first ps2s, is it possible to install a no swap mod chip or is the system to old?
