pal to ntsc problems

I seem to be having the same Pal 2 Ntsc problems. I'm not really sure how to do it. I've read the guides, and I think I've figured it out.

First I have to backup my game on my computer HD, right? I did that using CDRWIN, but according to the guide I was supposed to use the "extract sectors" button. Is that right? Also, once I have made the backup, is that when I run this program you've provided. Could you please help walk me through how to make a NTSc version of a PAL game I bought in the UK, and now found out doesn't work in US

I even had a magic 3 chip installed, but all I get now is the B+W scrolling pic.

Help would be much appreciated!
