Problem with a copied version of Thrill Kill

I recently aquired a copy of thrill kill for playstation and i have a problem with it, when the game starts up there is no sound and when im playing a match there is no music there are sound effects and voices though, but when i put the game in a non-modded playstation all of the cd tracks show up in the built in playstation cd player and play! What Do I DO! any suggestions????

The version of thrill kill that I have is the one thats unedited, uncensored and has all ending, and intro movies it's the Final Beta version (the one that was going to be released before getting banned)

Is there any way to fix this problem PLEASE HELP!!!
