colin mcrae rally 3 backup problem

trying to back up original game on dvdr pioneer ao5 burner, prassi softwear, followed tutorial on forum, reads & burns without any errors but will not boot on a v7 ps2 console (messiah 2 fitted) just get the playstation 2 boot screen & then image of disk saying no data? no probs with other games i have backed up gta3 vice, moh frontline etc..... any ideas? read speed minimum tried x2 types of disk white label & bulk pak gen 4 still ng
