Just bought one!
I have a V7 PAL PS2 and just yesterday installed a No Solder Mod Chip from ModChip World i've tried it with 2 games so far (Virtua Fighter 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2) and they both work perfectly! It was realloy easy to install and only took about 5 minutes and I have had no problems what so ever with it so far!
