heres the whole story so far. i originally had a neo installed. i took that out ps2 worked no prob, tried installing my magic 3.6 and i got nothing, touched up on some soldering and i got the browser screen but keept repeating the system configuration (meanwhile ever sense i tried installing the magic my laser doesnt spin or move, it tries but gets jerked back), so of course i go to touch up some soldering again and now i just get a solid black screen. so to answer your question, yeah before i tried installin my magic it worked perfect lol
