mpg4 to DVD

I got a PVR (personal video recorder) records the shows on TV on mpeg formats mpeg1,2,3 and 4 for best quality, how can I burn this mpeg4 files or convert them into VOB files so then can be put in a dvd-r and I can see them on my dvd?
