CD R Media
I was lookin through the DVD Ripping Forums and found some dude putting up this thread?
http://www.forums.alucard.cc/cgi-bin...=ST;f=1;t=2346 Some of my friends ps2's stoped reading dvd formatted games. Shortly after, people in other forums were saying there ps2's stoped reading ps2 dvd games and even stoped reading ps2 cd games... Well the people I talked to in the forums said "they play alot of copied games(cdr's)", so I asked my friends if they played alot of copied games and they said "yes, I never really played real games". I play copied games too, I use "verbaitum datalife-plus" to burn games. Verbaitum is the most expensile cdr's you could buy($1.75ea), my friends get the generic cdr's for 14 cents each. So I did a little more research into this, here is the results: generic cdr's are poorly maid with the worst die, and the ps2 laser works harder trying to read the disc(the more it reads bad die the weaker the laser gets). My ps2 laser did not die because I used verbaitum with thicker/high-quality die. Here is an example---> if a weak person trys to lift 200 pound weights he will strain himself and he will not be able to lift much of anything---> If the ps2 laser works harder than it needs to by reading bad cdr's it will strain itself too, and it will slowly become weak. When it does you'll notice your dvd games skipping alot more until they dont work at all, then your cd games will slowly stop working(so far, the cd games are skipping on my ps2 test system, they still work for now but i think they will stop working too just like the dvd games). EVERYTHING HAS BEEN TESTED AND PROVEN TO BE TRUE. Everyone please tell me what u think of my story.. Is that true? About using ****ty CDR Media?
