Hmm I forgot to write. That the sims only are supporting Windows 95 and 98 if I'm not misstaking me. U can read it in the back of the game.
And download the latest patch if its supporint 2000. Observe, 2.0 don't fix the XP or the 2000 problem. But I've find a 2000 crack on gamefix homepage. Maybe that should help the rare shutting down bug or what U will call it.
